There are lots of things to do and places to see, within easy reach. We have put together a selection of these below.
There are many fabulous walks in the area. Some can be started from here, others are reached with a short drive. It just depends on how far you want to go. We are happy to help you plan your hike.
People travel a long way to cycle the country lanes on our door step. You can literally cycle for miles and not cross a main road. We have space to store your bikes, and can recommend pit stops should you want.
The Thames flows through Lechlade, a 12 minute drive away. Rent a boat from Cotswold Boat, in The Trout pub car park, and head upstream to see some of the most beautiful stretches of water that the river has to offer.
The Cotswold Water Parks are close by too. With 140 acres of lakes, you can enjoy so many activities. These range from water sports activities (sailing, wakeboarding, water skiing, kayaking, boat hire and paddle boarding) to nature reserves.
The Cotswold Wildlife Park is only a 5 minutes drive away - You can sometimes hear the roar of the lions if the wind is coming from that direction!
We are spoilt for choice, with lots of fantastic pubs close by. Whether it's gastro food or great beer; great atmosphere or stunning buildings, there’s plenty of choice. If eating, then it is advisable to reserve a table.
